Todd Williams

Special Guest / All Star Utility Man

"T-Willie" sure is a versatile performer.  In fact, music takes up a gargantuan amount of T-Willie’s left and right brain hemispheres.  Todd has been playing since he was a kid and shares that joy when performing - especially if its a Bare-Naked Ladies' tune (the band, silly).

Todd loves digging up the really cool deep album cuts - and watch out - when he’s reading a biography of say, Skynyrd or The Allman Brothers; he’ll end up learning their whole catalog.  His choice of instruments are guitar, harmonica, bass, uke, and his new found love: percussion.  The Road Crew knows could bang his drum

(ehhh, we mean cajon), all day.

Fr. Marty John Miller

Percussion / Guitar / Vocals

Make no mistake – that is a Roman Collar! Despite various temptations as a younger man to become a full-time rock-n-roller, Fr. Marty John Miller found a calling that incorporates his priestly vocation with sharing his love of music to bring people together.  From an early age, Fr. Marty became fascinated learning guitar riffs of Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Joe Perry, and especially Pete Townshend. While almost anything with six strings grabs his attention, Fr. Marty is also drawn to drums and provides percussion and backbeat for the Old Friends Music Road Crew groove.

Although Fr. M is a committed Catholic priest and his main gigs favor God’s work and the sacraments (confession anyone?); OFM is blessed to have him on board to keep the train a-rolling on a steady track.  After all, it’s not everyday you see a man of the cloth cover Johnny Cash!

Mark Campagna

Bass Guitar

Mark is an old friend Cub Scout from days well-before we all realized we could make noises like him.  From his early days of dropping the needle on vinyl, he became a quick study playing bass guitar by ear. After trading in his ear for a pick, Mark developed a diverse catalog of styles which keeps him in high demand around the Three Rivers. He is a big fan of songwriter bands like Wilco and Elvis Costello as well as heavier classics from Zeppelin, Sabbath and (wait for it) – Barry Manilow. Yup, Mark is that talented.

Mark enjoys holding down the rhythm with smooth boomy notes and anchoring the tune to keep your feet moving. Short of being a miracle worker, Mark is the glue that keeps Will and Ed from wandering too far off into the improvisational world…

Pete Niederberger

In Memoriam
Special Guest Inspiration / Americana Singer

Pete began his musical journey at an early age listening to his older brother and father’s records and was thereby mesmerized into a trance by Bob Dylan.  Pete loved old time, roots music, such as Jimmy Rodgers, Woody Guthrie, and Hank Williams, which as he would joke, "went back to his early formational period which unfortunately left him in a semi-permanent time-warp." Pete’s artistry focused on Americana music, old folk, country tunes, & 1960s-early 70s folk rock.  To this day, Pete remains an inspiration as he showed us all to approach life in the eternal present moment.  Peace be with you Peter.
